Democracy is allowed...as far as the electors understand who must be elected and who musn't.

Lula, with its wild popularity among Brazilians, should not make it to the contest.

As a result, the powers that be are decided to deprive voters of choosing Lula, democracy be damned.

    Sinister.

Assuming that the country - it's population AND all the political leaders - who were chosen BY the population [forget about the buying of the votes] are serious.

    ARE THEY? REF:

    EM
Don’t be so pessimistic Reekie. “...as far as the electors understand…” The key word is ‘understand’…..the problem is that most DON'T ‘understand’ the implications, or sometimes serious consequences of voting for ‘A’ or ‘B’…just look at the Venezuelans, do you really believe they understood what they were getting themselves into when they “elected” Chavez, and then Maduro ?….and that happened in a (pseudo) democracy…a democracy which lasted until their “elected” leader decided it wouldn't ... Lula was never in favour of true democracy except for the fact that it gave him the opportunity to be elected and to make himself and his cronies, millionaires. His plans were to perpetuate the PT in power, transform Brazilian democracy into the PT's version of it, to eventually to become the most powerful and virtually only party…..sounds a bit like tyranny to me….. Lula be damned, the corrupt SOB.

REF: “Closer to prison - closer, by THOUSANDS of Kms”: I'm sorry, I stand to be corrected - I meant Light-Years, NOT Kms.

And just like any investigation, this one too is for the feeding of the news-hungry - the Media and the masses - with white lies or twisted news [Fake News?]. After the “oohs” and “aahs” are over; in collaboration with the Eager/Willing/Cooperating/Collaborating/Ignorant masses, everything will be perfectly normal; just like any other in a Fake-Democracy.

Only ONE example of the “Cooperation of the masses”:

EXACTLY, What's wrong with the “Weak Flesh”?

After all, the People [not just the Brazilians] have already been eating it - ENJOYING eating the weak flesh - for YEARS! Will they REALLY STOP eating it, just because “the cat” [the rotten cat/dog-meat & the other waste-products] “is out of the bag”?
