If this is an attack similar to the last one; it's not going to have much effect on the moves of Syria/Russia/Iran.

In the last attack [a year or so ago]; the US attacked but only after warning Russia. In turn, the Russians must have warned the Syrians+Iranians. So a small dilapidated airport was bombarded with 60 Tomahawks. And yet, there wasn't any serious damage [loss] at all & the airport was back in operation WITHIN 24 hours. Wondering: from which Toy-Store the Tomahawks were purchased or were they Made-in-China? Although a miserable one; it was a successfully ineffective and a Laughable Performance! Bank on the present attack; which may well be a Repeat-Pathetic-Performance!
