Falklands oil industry: final investment decision on Sea Lion project by end of the year
Rockhopper Exploration and operator Premier Oil have submitted a revised draft field development plan for the Sea Lion Phase 1 project to the Falkland Islands government. According to Rockhopper, a final submission should follow in the lead-up to sanction of the project, in the offshore North Falkland basin. Read full article

All good news, the progress is steady and continues for the long term benefit of Falkland Islanders. Hopefully Uruguayan, Chilean and Brazilian companies will also benefit from the increased activity.
