Runway codes are determined according to runway length; Code 1 being at least 800 meters long and Code 3 , 1200 to 1799 meters in length. Ramboll’s aviation division has been involved in airport developments in a number of countries around the world, including the UK (Heathrow), Russia, Rwanda and Gibraltar. Read full article

Stanley Airport will be improved within the next 25 years without any Argentine involvement . Hooker's Point is the disincentive to use Argentine 'engineers.'
Yet another reason the Falkland Islanders will be associated with the UK for the next 25 years and beyond.
