The Malvinas Islands ex Combatants Center, CECIM has requested the Inter American Commission on Human Rights, IACHR, to intercede before the Argentine government and demand a commitment that human rights abuses suffered by the Argentine conscripts during the South Atlantic conflict will be investigated. May 08th, 2018 - 08:27 pm - Link - Report abuse +1It's pay time for those officers who, lacking courage to fight the enemy, unleashed their prejudices and inferiority complexes on the very men they commanded.
Of course, the mistreatment showed how the army had become (with a few honourable exceptions) more of a paramilitary group in charge of kidnapping, torturing and executing unarmed civils than a real military force.
