South America, including the Falkland Islands, has the highest number of planned and announced floating production, storage, and offloading units (FPSOs) to be commissioned by 2025, according to a report by GlobalData. it remains to be seen whether the snail pace of the falklands has missed the boat or if premier can really attract the US$1.5 billion of investment said to be required to finance the capex for exploitation in today's economic climate.
