Representatives from British Overseas Territories held a meeting at 10 Downing Street hosted by Sir John Randall, the Special Advisor on Environment to the Prime Minister. The issues discussed included Brexit, international platforms, renewable energy, climate change, HMG’s Oceans and marine protected areas agenda. Read full article

Hopefully some time in the next few years, the inexplicably excluded British Chagossians will achieve their aim to become a proper BOT, joining in the great family of worldwide BOTs, and fulfilling a destiny to play their part in administering the Chagos Islands in conjunction with the US military and the UK. Including the conservation aspects and patrolling the Islands.
