China has ended a two-decades-long ban on exports of beef from the UK, first introduced after the outbreak of BSE - or “mad cow disease” - in the 1990s. The government said the development will be worth £250m to British producers over the next five years. Read full article

    Hey dummies:

You don't have enough land area to propagate cattle without concentrating all their accompanying diseases to a catastrophic level.

Meanwhile back in the real world, New Zealand is a similar size to the UK and is the fifth largest beef exporter in the world, Uruguay is smaller and comes in at number 8, and is famous for its beef.

Were you born this stupid Chronic, or do you have to work at it?

DT, available land area dummie head.

DT, why are you SO ashamed of your land of birth and who you are?

    Self loathe, often?

You do realise you're making yourself look dumber than a box of rocks?

Here is a map showing land use in the UK. Take a look at the biggest item (spoiler warning: it's pasture):

There are cows in the field behind my house right now, if it wasn't dark I could see them out the window. People have kept cows in the UK for over 1000 years, and yet somehow no cow-related catastrophes happened in all that time.

    PS. It's 'cretin', you cretin.

    No pasture in the UK?

Why are Americans so ignorant.... and angry?

I don't expect Americans to know whether there is pasture in the UK - anyone can look it up in 30 seconds if they need to. I do expect them not to make shit up and tell lies about other countries, something the Republican party in particular is frequently guilty of.

The question is why is this piece appearing in Mercopenguin, a British government propaganda organ supposedly devoted to America, South America and the “South Atlantic”?

Try informing yourself before writing, Ms Ignorant Angry American. Hint: all the countries in Mercosur are major beef exporters.

PS. You haven't even got the area right, this website covers “South America, the South Atlantic and insular territories”, the USA is NOT included.
