The European Union, Mexico and Canada have said they will retaliate against the US if the White House places new tariffs on foreign cars and vehicle parts. The countries delivered the warning on Thursday to a panel examining whether to recommend the taxes on grounds of national security. Read full article

Trump has promised to exempt Mexico from the tariffs if it agrees to
1. Fully pay for the promised US Mexico wall
2. Only use US labour and material in the construction of the said wall.
3. Have the wall completed in time for Trump's re-election campaign.
