Like addicted gamblers, Argentines have been reduced to watch the ups and downs of financial markets and the value of the peso.

Meanwhile, the real economy disintegrates under the indifferent eye of the 'best team of the last 50 years.''

Oh, but not to worry. President Mauricio Macri has been bestowed the Global Citizen award by the Atlantic Council.

The Argentines feel much better.
