Argentine manufacturing and construction declines during October

Manufacturing in Argentina fell 6.8% in October year on year, while construction declined 3.7%, and in the first ten months of this year 2.5% and 4.9% respectively according to the Indec statistics bureau report. Firms were hit hard by a contraction in economic activity and the devaluation of the Peso against the US dollar. Read full article

    Oh, yes, but you know, the Kirchners left such a heavy inheritance...poor Macri's hands and feet were tied up and he could not do anything else but impotently watch as things unfolded for the last three years...

    Then, there was the drought, and global warming, the U.S. raising the interest rates, Turkey and so on.

    You say Macri borrowed USD 100 billion, a record even for Argentina? Oh, yes, but you know, such was the cost of “gradualism,” whatever that means.

    Those people don't get it.
