The U.S. is looking forward to working with Bolsonaro's administration side-by-side as “regional LEADERS [?] of the Americas” and the footing of the bill goes to Brazil of course!

You should remember that relations were soured with Brazil and the USA due to the Obama administration and it's healthy that they develop a close relationship. The real threat is possible increased USA tariffs, which would not be positive for Bolsonaro.

Well, Lula sadly will not be attending the inauguration... breaks my heart...

(Reuters) - The chief justice of Brazil’s Supreme Court on Wednesday knocked down a decision by a fellow judge that would have freed imprisoned former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. (Earlier on Wednesday, Justice Marco Aurelio Mello approved an appeal that would have freed Lula, jailed since April.)
