With the departure of icebreaker ARA Almirante Irizar, Argentina launched this week its Antarctica Summer Campaign 2018/19. The re furbished icebreaker is scheduled to develop an intense scientific activity, supply Argentina's bases and stations and replace the teams that will be spending a whole season in Antarctica. Dec 22nd, 2018 - 04:48 pm - Link - Report abuse -1The other questions are 1) how long did it take to repair? 2) has the vessel been certified as being in class by Lloyds or whichever other class society that presumably should be involved 3) and most important of all what was the final cost of the repairs.

Not forgetting to add the cost of hiring suitable vessels to cover the time the Irisar was out of commission.

Not easy to fckuck with us Vikings about ships... ;-)
Anyhow... I reckon it must be the green monster of envy that dves a purported navy officer & gentleman to wish misfortune onto other sailors...

Ours is 10 meters longer..., 4 meters wider..., 40% heavier...and sticks ~2 meters deeper...
SAY NO MORE... It must be hard to be a little male brother... ;-)))
