“The United Nations statements are conclusive and they oblige us to negotiate”
That is not so. ”There is no obligation in general international law to settle disputes”.
Principles of Public International Law, third edition, 1979 by Professor Ian Brownlie
Both in 1829 and in 1982, even though the UK had the only bona fide colour of right, Argentina resorted to force. You don't get to refute a mechanism twice, and then appeal to its implication when you used force twice and lost.

In their dreams! But then when everyone aged 75 and under has been brought up sworn that there is only one side to the story and fed a string of lies and halftruths at School from the age of 4.5yrs to old age pensioner - since Peron changed all the books in 1945/46- what can one expect.

Aguad's talk is just that. The real facts speak by themselves, and the actions of the Macri government have given islanders significant economic opportunities. Macri would never pursue Malvinas' restitution. However, all of that becomes increasingly irrelevant with each passing day, as electors show their distaste for the government alliance Cambiemos and their candidate.

As they say, “no hay mal que dure cien años.”
