The Argentines continue to enjoy, or rather endure, the perks of the Macri government, which before being elected in late 2015 on promises of achieving Argentina's Joyful Revolution.

Argentine consumers ALWAYS spend less in July! If you look at consumer spending in Argentina it follows a cycle and always decreases in their winter. https://tradingeconomics.com/argentina/consumer-spending I can't see any obvious trend in the data - it looks like it has followed the same pattern for the last 5 years or so, with maybe a slight increase under Macri. So this seems like a non-story which Reekie has jumped on as fuel for his propaganda.

Temperature down. Consumption down. Nothing to see here.
