The Falkland Islands Government, along with fellow Overseas Territories and the Crown Dependencies, for the first time, laid wreaths at the National Service of Remembrance, at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, on Sunday, November 10.
This was in recognition of the part that citizens of the Overseas Territories played in both World Wars.
In previous years the Foreign Secretary would lay a wreath on behalf of those who served from the UK Overseas Territories.
The Overseas Territories Representatives lined up, in alphabetical order of Territory, behind the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition. (PN)
