We trust that international pressure and pressure from international organizations will create the conditions for you to become aware that colonialism has no reason to exist in the 21st century. And that the United Kingdom accepts the dialogue with Argentina. We also think that it is not only about defending territorial sovereignty but also about resources. Precisely the United Kingdom is there to take the resources. While I talk to you, there is
hydrocarbon exploration and there is fishing depredation. (Filmus 23 Feb)

I think you ppl are confusing things. I am from Mendoza, Argentina and thanks to the fast reaction of the local gov we are only having 5 infected persons. Both major parties are working together very hard putting aside differences. It has nothing to do with what Filmus said on February @Brit Bob.

What a bunch of horse manure. If the islanders were in need and Argentina denied it, these wise commentators would be screaming over the roofs.

But, the current Argentine government being wanting to help if need is, it offers to help -- and the whiners (most non-islanders) still complaint.

    They don't count.

The islanders appear to know very well the true nature of Argentine “help” ... being the sort that was shown in April of 1982.

Horse manure from a non-Argentine Canadian doesn't count for much either.

“If the islanders were in need....”
You are speculating ......and your comments have no foundation other than your desire to praise CFK and her assistant Alberto.

The comments of the 'wise commentators' are simply based on a 'wise interpretation' of previous policies practiced by Filmus and Co while they were in power 4 years ago...they cannot be trusted.

Five voted my comment as negative, it would be necessary to see where they live and why they voted my comment as negative. I don't see arguments

Argentina is country with 44 000 000 inhabitants. There are only 3-4000 in the Falklands. It is rather cheap for Argentina to be “kind” and offer help. If some Islanders were treated in an Argentine hospital it would not cost them very much, compared to the immense propaganda value. They could show the world how nice they are. Certainly the patients must be given Argentine ID cards, stating that they are Argentine citizens and Fuegians. They would probably be extremely well treated (better than the average Argentine patient), just to be persuaded to go home and tell their countrymen how good it is to be Argentine. Perhaps it is smart trick, but I do not think that it works. They have already tried so many methods, from war to seduction, and this is just the latest one.

Argentine hospitals are not very good, as La Asesina found when she got drunk on Christmas Eve and, as they say, “broke a leg” back in 2014. The “beyond the facility's technical facilities” bit refers to the fact that non payment to the foreign company responsible for the maintenance of both the scanner and the X ray machine resulted in her having to be flown all the way to Buenos Aires from Santa Cruz for treatment. You get what you pay for! :)

Imoyaro is quite correct that Argentine hospitals are nowhere near what the propaganda represents for foreign consumption. If you pay attention to such things, the media here are full of stories of prominent Argentines flying to the US or other countries for competent medical attention when local hospitals get beyond the first-aid level.

When CFK left office a few years ago even the hospitals in Bs As were considered mostly a disaster - many of them in bad shape:

“El 75% de los hospitales bonaerenses, en estado crítico” (2016 news note)

The islanders would do well to avoid Argentine hospitals.

I think that you guys are looking for the fifth leg of the cat, as we say in Argentina. The only think you got was an offer for help. There's nothing vicious, evil or bad in just offering help. If you are doing fine down there, excellent !!! You just don't have to be rude. That's all.
