Mercosur espouses democracy and democratic principles within its member states while ignoring the basic human and democratic rights of the Falkland Islanders. In this respect Mercosur can be described as hypercritical, archaic and irrelevant.

Where the new agreements, same as the EU agreements, include the Falklands.

The title of the article say it all, if it were not for Argentina insisting, they would forget it.

Frankly I don’t see any country in S. America even lifting a finger, to actually help Argentina.

We’ll pass another resolution that usually shuts the Argys up.

”The Treaty of Asunción was a treaty between the countries of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay signed on March 26, 1991. The objective of the treaty, signed in Asunción, was to establish a common market among the participating countries, popularly called Mercosur (Southern Common Market). Later, the Treaty of Ouro Preto was signed to supplement the first treaty, establishing that the Treaty of Asunción was to be a legally and internationally recognized organization.”
What the heck has the Falklands to do with a trade organisation?
Obviously, has no legal weight. As Mercosur is acting in excess of its own mandate, which is beyond its powers (ultra vires).

I’m hunkered down with relatives on the mainland.
Western isles introduced travel restrictions after hordes of campervanners sought to find refuge.
The Comhairle have been successful, with only 7 positive Covid cases.

There are I believe significant differences, although I understand what Darragh says - “ I've come indoors for a cup an thea..“
Whilst I can converse in Scottish Gaelic, writing is another matter.

“Took all their prátaí” That's absolutely untrue, the potatoes all over Europe were destroyed by the potato blight (phytophthora infestans). Mr Coogan’s interpretation as a nationalist is hardly an objective assessment, especially trying to apply international legal definitions retroactively. As you well know from your countries' blighted attempts, to apply UN law to the Falklands.
Moreover, My first wife(who was part Irish Catholic) and studied the issue at university, as part of her honours history degree. Specifically stated there was no genocidal polices by UK government. There was an inability to act effectively, as one of two main difficulties were a lack of an effective coping system in place. Secondly, all national governments saw their remit was largely in the field of foreign policy. The social engineering was left to local governments.

Jack Bauer aka Proof-less and Truth-less
    “I feel I should warn you ...”
Aha one of the brave gang of four, numbers were never a deterrent. I learnt that at six years of age, when I decimated a gang of eight, would be bullies. By letting them chase me, and after every door or corner I and stopped bloodied a pursuers nose, after three such occurrences they thought better of it. The following year at another school. I punched out a nine year old gang-leader called Pie Face. I was carried around the school on cheering kids shoulders, and Pie Face and his gang were finished.
As an apprentice in the air force, when my entry graduated from basic training we were moved up to the squadron. Where the senior entry told us we were in for a night of humiliations in the NAAFI. The rest complied, I refused and said come and get me I'll be waiting for
    you, I was left alone.
When my oldest son was in grade three we discovered he was being beaten up by a gang of kids on bikes. When I complained to school they told me they could do nothing about it, as it hadn't occurred on school property. So I gave the lad some instructions of how to fight when out-numbered. Told him to put some short sticks in his back pocket, and when a bike got close thrust a stick through the front wheel spokes. A number of days later I'm called by the school, and I'm informed there is complaint from the parents of the bullies that their sons had been thumped, as well their bikes had been damaged. When I told the caller it was nothing to do with him as it hadn't occurred on school property. “That's a poor attitude I was told” My reply how dare you, when my son was assaulted by these bullies you could do nothing. But when he avails himself of the right to self-defence, suddenly that's not permissible. Well, I'm not letting you reverse the rules, after setting them once. You so perfectly remind me of such a character.

Gullible, it's been 2 days since I commented. Are you bored? Is the one brain cell not talking to the other? Were your parents, perhaps, rather too closely related? One perhaps, ovine?

Twitter? A useful medium for getting the word out. As a result of my mediocre efforts the latest book has now been downloaded a little over 3,500 times. 40% into Argentina. Not so bad for such a niche subject.

    Anyone fancy a free read?

Yr link on Terry F*ckwitt defines him well : “Fuckwitt's regrettable flaw is that he continuously mistakes situations, objects 'n people for things they are not. He is cross-eyed, has wirey black hair in a style resembling dreadlocks, 'n wears outdated 70s platform shoes. Due to the swearword in his name, the comic never prints it in its entirety on the front page, often obscuring it with another graphic element, or else spoonerising it to ”Wuckfitt“. He lives with his parents, both of whom despair at his stupidity, 'n often make unsuccessful attempts to get rid of him. In one strip he responds to an employment advert that states, ”Cunt Wanted“. Upon realising that he's done something stupid, Terrence usually exclaims, correctly, that he has ”shit for brains“.[citation 'NOT' needed]”, and is 99% accurate.

The 1%, facts which need updating: his father walked out on him years ago, in disgust at the smelly creature, so he lives alone, in his Ma's basement....also, where it reads “Upon realizing he has done something stupid” - always - instead of admitting “he has shit for brains”, he alleges that he has “shown you proof”, and that “any wrong information is the journalist's fault' ”....or even maybe, the “Army got it wrong”...

    Roger Lorton

Seems that Gullible is having a moment....

“Is the one brain cell not talking to the other? Were your parents, perhaps, rather too closely related? One perhaps, ovine?” ....A good question, which he is most likely unable to answer without Stink's help...the suggestion that one parent might be ovine, solves the mystery....it's now clear that his father is Stink the Chimp, and his mother is one of the sheep Stink molested....Stink always lies to him, telling him he is human...thus his name, “Gullible”.
Wonder if Stink was ever going to tell him the truth ?

So...'Wuckfitt' is your rebellious sockpuppet, aka 'bag of shite', and Gullible, part ovine/ part human (aka 'sheeple') is your son. Who'd a thunk it ?

“It has been suggested that Ribeiro Pereira left Haiti for fear of “being hauled before an international court for war crimes. ... Another reason was the use of Haiti as a testing ground for military hardware, such as armored amphibian vehicles manufactured in Brazil that could then be sold as being battle-tested. This was important for the Brazilian army brass, which considered Haiti to be perfect for this project because the population was unaware that it was at war and posed no risk.”

Although the resort remains closed, it has turned really into a glorious day here and tomorrow will be even more climatically perfect for young ski students.

I'm currently watching over the youngest as they're napping. The three gitanas are outside cheering the older ones continuously sidestepping the slope and skiing back down with amazing energy. Life is very good and we are thankful for all the simple blessings.

You still on about Haiti ? when are you going to realize that you have pissed out the pot ?

Anyway, since you insist, I'll go back - just for your sake - to the end of the “Brazil confirms budget primary deficit” thread, which closed right after you posted yr shite.

So Aldo Cordeiro Sauda is your source…never heard of the non-entity, so I decided to look him up…and, no surprise why you are misinformed.
A truly insignificant piece of crap, you even got his (& Benjamin Fogel’s) name wrong…go back 'n see what you wrote ..idiot.

But getting back to the lie….Sauda said “he (Mourão) was responsible”, and that’s it ? that is your irrefutable truth ?
Now, let’s see who this non-entity is - Aldo Sauda : master in political science by Unicamp (biiig deal), declared communist, political activist for the PSOL (far-left), fanatical Lula /PT supporter, loves Guilherme Boulos (leader of the MTST- social movement - which occupies empty buildings, then extorts the poor bastards who move in), contributes to leftist blogs, including the ‘Jacobinmag’ rag, participates in a group from the IFCH (commie stronghold), the strong point of which is Marxist studies.
To these wonderful credentials, you can add, he hates the military - reason why he twists and invents fake news to try to make them look bad. Whether reporting on local, or international issues, he lies without restraint.
Easy to see why you identify so well with him.

Fuckwitt, you should really choose your friends more carefully. Ah, you don’t need to explain what “ipsis litteris” means….a word of advice ? stop pooping out of your piehole and consult the original source of all your confusion (Heleno's FB page and the official site of the Brazilian Army).

Today's Andes weather has been superb and the snowpack is powdery. Our oldest grandchild and I sidestepped about 300 meters up the gentile slope and he expertly flew through the snow in seconds, re-climbing back again for his second decent and again for quickly climbing above for countless others... (We are prohibited to ascend higher, which I understand — but my grandson became too enthusiastic and I was convinced to climb higher with him until caught.)

In a way, this lockdown has been a blessing because the small community is doing a great job of managing the area so the little ones are not in peril. Everyone here have been exceedingly pleasant to interact with, including the management staff.

We returned for a quick lunch of toasted sourdough bread goat cheese sandwiches and roasted tomato and sweet red onion soup. A half hour later, we returned to the snow.

    Estimado THINK:
I appreciate your cleverly crafted wordage. Our greatest threat however are anticipated massive labor strikes perhaps in September or October. Communists don't scare me, but the anarchists do. We are living in an unsustainable economy.

We ourselves reside in the post Inca empire — while Güeón-Guillotte lurks in the flying isle of Laputa, over Terry FW in Balnibarbi. Tonight we are having a variety of apartment-made gourmet goat cheese pizzas, which are highly popular with everyone here, but would be blasphemous to purists. The key is the sourdough crust and the variety of toppings. (The fresh basil leaves in ziplock bags are essential and the tomato paste is Brazilian. I would also mention that we are very impressed with Miele brand appliances.)

I've never been as appreciative of all our family blessings. Life is exceedingly wonderful at this special moment.

    Cheers from 3000 meters!

There are actually books written about the subject: https://riseandyum.com/how-to-boil-eggs-at-high-altitude/
The subject regarding high altitude bread baking is far more fascinating and complex.

What I find really fascinating is the lack of comment regarding your nation's spike in poverty and a predicted that 58.6% of children and adolescents would be in poverty by year's end. I'm not overlooking my country's own dire situation, but I was struck with the quote: “We already have a level of growth in poverty that goes far beyond what Argentina could have foreseen even in its worst nightmares”

The other nightmare comment is that projected inflation in your country could be as high as “40.7% this year with many prices frozen...” ...Only in Argentina...

In Chile we are also facing an economic crisis, but at least we have a fairly solid credit rating to face a very tough horizon. There is no doubt our middle class and poorer segments are facing a terrible outlook here well into 2021.

FYI: A resident of my apartment block has a fascinating new UAZ Hunter 4x4 in the parking lot. I didn't even knew they existed here in Chile.

Overcast this morning, but we are anticipating another excellent climatic day.

Eilean Siar DemonTree Estimado THINK Jack and others...

Santiago was indeed the southern most boundary of the once grand Inca Empire. Cold hard boiled eggs are for summer, and I agree about a runny yolk on toasted buttered bread is one of greatest ways to enjoy breakfast.

The highly technical outline for producing a perfectly boiled egg is interesting, but impractical. We already know about how water boils at different altitudes and even the water temperature actually changes. The most important aspect to consider is that traditional gas cooktop burners are nearly worthless here at 3000 meters. That's why we adopted to the electric induction option , which makes all the difference.

Bread dough formation regarding yeast gas ratios and time all have to be accounted for and basic ingredient ratios as well. Our tribe heavily relies upon a sourdough starter method which is temperamental as well as unique of each mother batch, which is supposedly healthier than store bought yeast.

This morning's petit déjeuner was a buffet of fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, pain l’anglaise au abricot, oeufs brouillés and our daughter-in-law's outstanding pomme rösti. (She's a Santiago Deutsche Schule alumnus.)

Actually, the pita bread option sounds convenient for the youngsters, but we generally will slice open a baguette and make pizza bread. (Also, I would add that I personally favor bovine cheese, but we are using a wide assortment of delicious goat cheeses.)

The discussion around the boiling of eggs is fascinating, and particularly relevant, as I am presently with family on the mainland at a higher altitude.

Last evening feeling peckish, I decided to have a Warburtons Crumpet topped with a poached egg.

Regrettably after poaching for same time as I would at my usual sea level abode, the yolk was more set than I would have wished, so had to moisten the crumpet with an additional amount of butter.

I doubt you can obtain Warburtons Crumpets over there, but here is a link how you might experience the delight!

I will allow meself..., just for once..., to be a teeny weeny nit picky on this precise subject...

    1) Traditional gas cooktops do need a “high altitude” set of burners that properly regulate the gas/air mix through smaller orifices...
(Guess your friendly Poggenpohl salesperson didn't mention that Miele does provide such...)

    2) Height ain't the biggest problem though... Temperature is...
One has to keep the gas bottle at room temperature...Cold DOES NOT become butane well...

    3) “Impractical”... would be to haul a Miele Induction Top to the Top of the Nevado Ojos del Salado to boil ones eggy eggs...(Not to speak about the extention cable... :-)

Honest Guv..., I do prefer me little, humble but trustworthy Soto Windmaster 4-flex...

The western turquoise sky is turning into a wonderful mild orange watercolor.

Although not a part of Madame's repertoire, crumpets were a treasured staple in my grandmother's home. Thank you for sharing the recipe, which I will try when we descend to a lower encampment. (I adore smoked salmon eggs Benedict and toasty crumpets would be an ideal.)

Altitude directly changes the dynamics of food preparation. I prefer a gas burner cooktop, but at 3000 meters (9842 feet) they are hopelessly inefficient. Even normal electrical radiant tops are not as efficient to induction burners at high altitude. (Water boils at 100°C at our place in Viña, but here does here at 10°C less.)

We have never used Miele appliances before, but the serendipitous selection has been highly satisfying. Besides the induction top, the oven is combi-steam which takes a day alone to understand its capabilities.

As I mentioned before, we acquired our kitchen unit due the the insolvency of the German parent company. We purchased and re-designed the apartment during the first month of lockdown, and if it were an uneventful year — we would normally just decide to take another ski season at Las Leñas, but c'est la vie.

What a perfect day, even though the lifts remain closed!

Ever go thru your demented little brain that perhaps I find the accusation so hilarious that I ignore it ?
Does yr “o saco de merda doesn’t exist” actually mean something or is it just another stupid disconnected sentence your little brain thought up ? but just fyi, they do exist...take a look in the mirror.

The name 'newsjunkiepost' is quite appropriate....the link contains a few facts laced with a lot of fake news....Dady Chery's “bittersweet prediction that the occupation of Haiti by Brazil would destroy its democracy” is quite funny.
In case you still haven’t grasped it, MINUSTAH stands for “Missão das Nações Unidas para a Estabilização no Haiti” i.e.,“UN mission for stabilization”…to pacify the country after “dictator” Jean Bertrand Aristide fled, leaving its population at the mercy of the gangs…Yeah, sure sounds like a lot of democracy was destroyed. The photo at the top of the link, of a gang member brandishing an assault rifle, says it all…and in case you’ve forgotten, it was Lula - your hero - who acceded to the UN’s request to send troops in, 'n organized by commie Celso Amorim (Minister of Foreign Affairs).

Your & the lefties alleged massacre of civilians was a firefight between the military 'n the criminal gangs…the word ‘firefight’, excludes the death of innocents, as both sides were armed.
What did the Military test ? Ah, armoured amphibian vehicles, not weapons…so, tell me, how many civilians were run over by the vehicles, before they were battle-tested ? Ribeiro Lima, aka as Gen. Heleno in case you haven't yet realized, was removed from command by Lula after his criticism of the toad’s stupid policies in the Amazon. And funny, he was also of the opinion that Brazil was running the risk of communization in 1964…but of course, you were here in 64 and know better. .

With sincere respect to your argument, Miele gas jobs are excellent — but their superior induction heating (via an electromagnetic field below the glass cooktop surface that transfers current directly to magnetic cookware, causing it to directly heat) — is by far the ideal method of 3000M stovetop cooking.

During the space race, the Americans developed a pressurized ballpoint pen so they could write notes under zero G. The Russians simply reverted to using a graphite pencil. Both methods were perfectly functional solutions.

You could use a similar analogy regarding boiling water with an induction and gas burner side by side. Both will boil water, but the induction method provides results substantially more rapidly than the gas alternative.

Sunday's snow conditions today again have been extraordinary ideal for everyone. Partially cloudy with a slight breeze and the snow is dry and powdery. Even our three year old granddaughter — now snowplows beautifully without any assistance.

Our delinquent snowpack patrol ruse on the slopes was sadly a onetime event. Management is worried about the government penalizing the resort and even the talk about heli-skiing was defeated as the pilots could face serious penalties.

For the ones that are not descending below today, Madame and the other ladies of the community have arranged a late afternoon apéro dînatoire for the very early evening. It should be an amazing buffet with our side alone contributing various dishes.

Besides savory puff pastry roasted garlic butter palmers and gougère cheese puffs and four different tapenades — Madame has prepared her signature large Occitan charcuterie platter condimented with cornichons and a jar of Meaux mustard Pommery. That of course accompanied by fresh baked sourdough bread baguettes and wine.

I'm informed that the main courses and deserts are coming from the others and we'll be gathered around on a patio for celebrating what we aspire will be a beautiful sunset. In any case, it should be great fun!

    Dear FWT,

There’re dozens of posts in which you claim - insist - that he did…and, that he was Gen.Heleno’s superior officer.
Your last attempt was to ‘copy & paste’ some rubbish written by Aldo Sauda & Benjamin Fogel…when that backfired ('essentially, the facts in their article ARE in contention'), you resorted to ‘newsjunkiepost’, which claimed Brazil had destroyed Haitian democracy… in your attempt to wiggle out of your own lies, you tried a bit of self-deprecating wit.
Sometimes the truth is camouflaged as a joke… “There’s many a true word spoken in jest” (Geoffrey Chaucer).
Your pathetic joke that “they had tied bayonets to the wheels of the amphibious armoured vehicle etc” reminded me of scythed chariots.

Well ok - now that your posts have been properly exposed for what they are - rubbish - I’d just like to say that I was amused when you started to tell the truth about yourself under your pseudonym 'Lokal Loony' ….or was it just a diversion tactic you learnt while cleaning bogs in the RAF ? it’s a pity the truth didn’t last long…“Eventually, I realised that an ad hominem attack often is an important signal indicating that the attacker is wrong etc”.
You might do well to ‘eventually realize’- better late than never - that you are a nincompoop.

I reckon that everyone on here, even Stink (“my “Terence Hill” sockpuppet does struggle with some severe cognitive challenges”)”, knows you are “mentally challenged”.

You must give me credit for being politically correct, and, having refrained from mentioning the ugliest truths about you, i.e., the fact that you are a liar, a fake and a lover of dolls…Ooops, it slipped out ..so sorry.

    Chicureo
Looks like TFW keeps a 'history' on you, as well....don't you feel flattered ?

Just fyi, found and ordered 3 bottles of Arboleda Brisa...let's see !

“in which you claim - insist - that he did” What I laid out in my first post is a only a verbatim copy of an article.
So since I didn't opine anything. If have a dispute over contents take up with the writers, I am just the messenger and bear no responsibility for contents therein.
“A fake and a lover of dolls” describes exactly with the following proving the such person is yourself.

Remember, those that keep talking about it, aren't getting it. So the only thing that you've actually accomplished, is to reveal your nasty secret little fetishes, congratulations all is revealed. ”It tells the listener more about the speaker than the person being spoken about” John T. Reed

TERRY F*CKWITT (he’s as thick as pig shit)

Tel, there you go again, bad mouthing people, I thought we had agreed to, “Try and do better, “Strive to be happy””.

Explain to: “The most Honourable and Courteous, JB, the Proof, Truth, & Psychological Superior to Terry F*uckwitt”, that cleaning toilets was only your hobby, in your spare time.

Your job was washing plates (second class), whilst advising Pres Kennedy about what to do about those pesky Cubans, on the phone.

See, His Excellency, the most high Advocator of the Avocado, Chicureo, culinary Maestro of the Andes, posts:

“Partially cloudy with a slight breeze and the snow is dry and powdery.”

“Savoury puff pastry roasted garlic butter palmers and gougère cheese puffs and four different tapenades”

“Occitan charcuterie platter condimented with cornichons and a jar of Meaux mustard Pommery. That of course accompanied by fresh baked sourdough bread baguettes and wine.”

    Marvellous and mouth-watering.

    You post:

““When a person has nothing, he goes after the person he can’t answer with logic or facts.” Gary DeMar
“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.“
Aha, I see the Fuck-Up Fairy has visited us again!
”You couldn't get a clue during the clue mating season in a field full of horny clues if you smeared your body with clue musk and did the clue mating dance.” Edward Flaherty
You can compress the most words into the smallest idea of anyone I know.”

Mate, bitter and twisted, in extremis, absolute rubbish, I can’t feel the love here, the “joie de vivre”, Tel!!!

Endeavour to persevere, let’s try again, remember “be nice, not potty mouthed”

    Off you go!!!
