The Falkland Islands Government will be extending the Tourism Recovery Incentive Program (TRIP) by two months. The scheme, which was due to end on March 31, will now remain in operation until May 31. Falklands residents will have until that date to redeem their vouchers. Read full article

Such a scheme could have some positive effect on the suffering Tourism Purveyor Industry in a Country with a huge passive population..., but NOT in 3,000 souled Malvinas..., where it forces the already hard hit tourist operators to keep their business open and incur in all kind of expenses..., only to serve some stingy Puerto Estanleyners armed with a Government Subsidized Voucher...
What the FKUCK is wrong with subsidizing the needy directly and effectively..., I ask...?
