Brazil’s government will cut its stake in power company Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA , or Eletrobras, to 45% from its current 61% in a planned privatization process, a senior official in the Energy Ministry announced on Wednesday. Read full article

IF the president doesn't delay, or find some excuse to not go through with it.....he's been dragging his feet on privatization since he was elected....IF not blocked by Congress, because if privatized, the politicians will lose a big, inefficient state-run company in which they can place family and friends in cushy jobs .....I'l only believe it when it actually happens.
