Your aerospace industry is impressive and I’ve actually assisted in a modest manner —your wine industry. (In the Petrolina area your grape growers can achieve 5 harvests within a 24 month cycle!)
As far as our cherished wine — perhaps the next two generations will enjoy a selection of our cellar — but nothing really lasts a millennia although there have been some amazing finds as the Judean date seeds that are now growing in Israel.
We in Chile struggle onward with a single harvest each year — although we’ve actually lost an entire crop due to unseasonable freezing.

Dilma “Fatty” Rousseff left a budget deficit of over 100 billion in 2015.
Caused partially due to a lot of ineffective, predudicial populist measures to try to boost her popularity before the upcoming elections end 2014, which transformed an already shrinking revenue into a tiny surplus, then into gaping deficits.
The problem occurred because, without Congressional knowledge, she obliged the two Federal banks (“Caixa Economica Federal” , “Banco do Brazil”) to lend money to the government, “off the books” - the so-called “pedaladas” - in order to cover the deficit, prohibited by the Law of Fiscal Responsibility.....so she broke the Law.
She never issued fiscal decrees regarding these loans, as if she had, they would have had to be appreciated /authorized (or not) by Congress before the loans were conceded.
On the other hand, had these illegal loans been paid back during the same fiscal year they were made, she might even have gotten away with it, but the deficit was carried over from 2014 to 2015, to 2016.....something Temer had to cope with later on.
After suspicions regarding her (illegal) creative accounting were raised, she denied it, but when the bank officials confirmed that they had been bullied into granting the unofficial loans, and she could no longer deny it, she tried to justify it.....hence her impeachment.
Always defending the crooks, but that is irrelevant if they are good marxists like yourself.

Breakfast with the children was enjoyable as I tried their homemade granola that is made with honey, our own Flame Seedless raisins and cut up fresh ripe nectarines with yogurt. (I even tried a caffè mocha, which is is a chocolate-flavored variant of a caffè latte.)
Today’s le déjeuner menu is classic duck l’orange made with Grand Marnier Cognac — which is one of our son’s favorite meals as well as one of mine and Madame uses honey and nutmeg in her recipe. Roasted breasts are first carved from the carcass, thinly sliced, and served with spoonfuls a delicate rich orange sauce, while the legs and thighs are further roasted to in the convection oven to perfect succulence.
Madame is roasting two ducks and serving with a mix of white and California wild rice tossed with toasted almonds and oven-roasted garden haricots verts. We’re serving a chilled Viña Carmen Gewürztraminer.
(The other two ducks I’ll be slow smoking perhaps next week in the garden — using a backyard oven with plum wood branches.)
Regarding the wild rants of Skippy was the final key to the puzzle was to input Terence’s long list of mindless quotation rants into an internet search engine and the surprising result was a Scott “Skippy” Jessop — who uses the EXACT SAME QUOTES — word for word!
The only thing that didn’t make sense was Terence originally claimed to living in Canada — but finally he admittedly revealed he was not living in Canada.

In the attempt to defend Dilma, Supreme Court Justice Lewandowski (who as you well know is another radical petista) decided that as he had participated in the TCU’s rejection of Dilma’s accounts, he should not be considered a witness but only an informant, and as such, his testimony could not be used as proof. Smells a bit like a PT conspiracy, doesn’t it F*cktwitt ? but it didn’t work.
This fraudulent practice started in 2013, giving the impression that the government was rolling in money, even as revenue was shrinking.
The proof that Dilma had lied (when she claimed that money she had used - and which had caused the deficit - was obtained through the relocation of funds) became obvious when the bank executives testified.
Using the banks as a source of financing, without prior Congressional authorization is prohibited by the LRF…….hence her impeachment.
Dilma’s actions led Brazil to lose its – until then – favorable investment grade, leading to divestment (nat'l and int'l), inflation, and recession.

Despite the draconian lockdown of the metropolitan area — our son is able to get away for the weekend to spend with his family that Madame and I are enjoying and thankfully the two women have tightly bonded.
(I should also credit the arsehole Skippy again for his contribution of your additional esteemed titles with FFC = Fellow Fantastic Companion!)
Earlier today my son and I motorcycled up the rocky hillsides to discuss blasting the rock formations and terracing the area — which we think will yield a little over two hectares of steep hillside — which with about 17 tons of amended soil — will result in slightly over 2.3 to 2.5 hectares. (Considering taxes — we need to invest the substancial profits of this past season as well as take advantage of the remarkable new investment incentives.)
Obviously the avocado trees and the amended irrigation system will add to the overall cost but land in the valley has become outrageously expensive to purchase IF it ever is offered for sale. What we do however have is an excess holding of water rights ownership which today is impossible to buy.
It was wise that Madame roasted two ducks as that gave us 4 legs for the four adults and the duck breasts were moist and succulent with plenty of Madame’s delicious rich Grand Marnier sauce. Really an outstanding meal! (The California cultivated wild-rice was our Schwiegertochter’s contribution which is excellent!)
Thank you for your comment about the stew — unfortunately in Chile our food tends to be far blander than most of Latin America.
Tonight’s planned fare is our family favorite Peruvian ceviche — as yesterday we were able to buy fresh from a seafood supplier and I’ll attach the recipe.

I recall a TV program about the Inca agricultural system, using terraces (not blasted out though) and growing different crops at different altitudes as suited, but which had the advantage of when crops failed lower down, for whatever reason, the crops higher up still produced or visa versa.
Maybe a different crop for a different environment???

Accompanied with buttered toasted sourdough bread with our farm-made nectarine jam and perfectly prepared café latte.
As the weather remains very pleasant to dine outdoors on the patio — today’s le déjeuner will be a mixed asado of sirloin steaks and German style sausage with grilled sweet red onions, red sweet Italian peppers and garden mixed salads.
This will obviously be accompanied with a very good red wine (yet to be decided) and Madame’s orange-lemonade.
Pugol — Yes the Incas were superb growers using advanced irrigation and crop rotation adapting to the climate zones for plants to thrive — such as potatoes and quinoa. We know from temperature monitoring that the area we’re planning to blast will be excellent for Hass variety avocados. (Cold air settles to the lower level of the valley and why grapes can survive Spring frosts that kill avocados.)
Regarding yesterday’s fare: We used a fresh sole filet (frozen overnight) and salmon to create a two color cebiche using a sweet Italian pepper and thinly sliced mild Anaheim chili with cherry tomatoes. We also used juice from Meyer lemons. Served with Madame’s thinly sliced garlic sourdough toasts — it was marvelous!
Regarding Skippy the Virgin: After comparing with an Internet search of the identical exact quotes from both Terence Hill and Skippy (that match each other word-for-word) and if you subscribe to the Occam's razor principle that the simplest explanation is usually the right one — you can ONLY arrive at one of TWO conclusions: Either Terence Hill has been identically plagiarizing Skippy as a weird sycophant or Terence Hill is actually Skippy himself!
If you have watched the Skippy the Virgin videos — you can certainly he’s the actual weird and sexually confused skinny armed fatso Terence Hill!

As our mongrel gypsy family encompasses our delightful Schwiegertochter that has been treating us to the traditional German-Chilean cuisine that includes German style sausages from the German colony in Orsorno Chile.
Although the grilled sirloin steaks were excellent — the WildWurst and WeissWurst sausages were sublime. https://www.petersdeli.cl
Also, besides the garden salad — we’ve enjoyed today Schwäbischer Kartoffelsalat (German bacon-vinegar-onion-mustard potato salad) that can be served both warm or cold and it is delicious!
It seems that tonight’s meal will be a Smörgåsbord of cold sausage, sliced sirloin steak and orange duck breast with sourdough, chèvre and potato salad with what-ever in the refrigerator.
My son has already selected a marvelous Caballo Loco N°10 to pull the cork at sunset as this is his last night before returning to Vitacura early tomorrow morning. (I find it humorous that lawyers are essential workers — during this pandemic their casework has doubled.)
Earlier today, my son and I returned to the rock-hillside area that we want to terrace using retaining walls in critical points to minimize the vertical steep angle. In addition to the estimated 17 tons of amended soil we’ll need about ten tons of river sand as the soil base to lay a microfiber mesh capillary barrier at the interface of two soil layers that assists the root zone to remain moist.
(We estimate over 23,000 square meters of capillary barrier fabric, and at least 1,400 Hass variety trees to be placed on order with a nursery.)
There have been times of acrimony and near divorce — but Madame and I at this moment are content with our wonderful gypsy clan and realizing the freedom of the farm while the entire Santiago region remains under strict lockdown.
