Unfortunately the original landowning majority in many parts of our continent were highly prejudicial and violently persecuted our people. (Our ancestors were victims of societal ignorance!)
The truth today is that we are multiethnic societies that are impossible to classify. (Brazil’s large African ethnicity and over a million of their population of Japanese ancestry complicates defining our nations as homogeneous.)
Certainly Argentina, Uruguay and Chile have the highest percentage of European ancestry.
Argentinian arrogance and prejudice in full view. It is no coincidence that escaped Nazis were able to hide and be sheltered there for so long. Brazilians tolerate Argentinian visitors with their overbearing attitudes because they bring tourist income, but they also recognize them for what they are.

Sadly, their populace have been brainwashed with ridiculous propaganda fooling them to continue the conflict.
Although true that a large number of Nazis settled there — it was also a safe haven for Jewish refugees escaping the Holocaust.
Although not perfect — Argentine people are no more arrogant than the French nor any more corrupt as the Italians. If they were ever able to fulfill their actual potential — they certainly would be one of the ten wealthiest nations in the world!
I admire Argentina and am blessed with Argentine friends — but I also am very thankful to reside on the other side of the Andes!

I had to call the police in Buenos Aires because a black Brazilian pushed me to suffer head injuries. Describing her as black is not racism.
