The Falkland Islands Government is pleased to confirm that, following a detailed review of updated fiscal and economic information, supported by a process of confidential interviews with FIG officers and other stakeholders, including representatives of the business community, S&P Global Ratings have confirmed the sovereign rating for the Falkland Islands remains at A+ with a stable outlook.     Bad news like this won’t get a mention in Argentina, they don’t like any success story in the Islands.

    Makes a mockery of their attempts to make life hard for the Islanders.

    And as we have repeatedly heard from the likes of Malv et al, the Islands can’t possibly survive never mind prosper without Argentina.

    Well guess what, they can and do here is the irrefutable proof, if any more were needed.
