Argentina's President-elect Javier Milei announced Monday in a broadcast interview that he would privatize the state-run Public TV (TVP), National Radio, and the news service Télam because he did not adhere to those practices of having a covert Ministry of Propaganda. He will likely be persecuted for any changes a d he will always have to watch his back.
There are a lot of corrupt people in the country and untill he gets that under control he will need to be on guard.
I think we as Falkland islanders may get less political attention in the coming years as he concentrates on urgent domestic and other international policies.
A close friend, residing in San Juan, used to always fly first class on Aerolíneas Argentinas.
