Disclaimer & comment rulesNaturally they will go ahead with the vote. The voting slips, that will be counted, were already filled in a few weeks ago. Venezuela has said that they will not invade any foreign country. That is why they need the vote to be counted.

Lots of luck with that one as only two ways into that area. Either from the sea where the US
Navy has stacked the seaward approach with war ships.
Or via Brazil. Brazil announced “intensified defensive actions” along its northern border fearing a possible invasion of Guyana by the dictatorial regime of President Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela.
