British Minister for the Americas, Caribbean, and Overseas Territories David Rutley met Monday in Georgetown with Guyanese President Irfaan Ali to reaffirm the United Kingdom's support to the South American country in their controversy with Venezuela over the 160,000 km2 oil-rich Essequibo region.     MM, their argument is, they think it is ok to steal land from the natives because they did not have white skin and did not believe in an invisible man in the sky, so it does not count, pretty poor excuse and they have never said it out loud but that is truth of the matter. so yes you are so right, Hypocrisy,

    The basis on which they claim Essequibo???

    Obviously some Empires good, some empires bad, depending on which suits the argument being made at the time.

    Crass hypocrisy.
