Judge Guillermo Patricio Cánepa of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) ruled this week that Cruiseline S.R.L. should not mislead potential customers by advertising cruise services to the United Kingdom's “Islas Malvinas.” The magistrate ordered the company to pull its advertising campaign in that regard and recognize Argentina's sovereignty over the archipelago. Except the Falkland Islands are a British overseas territory and you need the correct paperwork to visit.

Dishonouring the 1982 fallen by repeating the Peronist myths doesn't help anyone.

Typical Argentine Myth. They don't own the British Falkland Islands, Never Have and never will either. Theirs is nothing more than a mythical claim.
As for doshonering their war dead. Let's make it abundantly clear, those Argentine soldiers died , because they illegally invaded a British Territory. They never lived here. They invaded on April 2nd 1982 and the British chucked them out on 14th June 1982.
The Argentines in 74 days of occupation plundered people's homes and lifestyle. The Falkland Islanders were terrorised by these invaders. That act of aggression ended any resolutions within the United nation's.
They indoctrinate their children with mythical lies. They try to disrupt our business by imposing unlawful demands on cruise vessels. They are the low of the low, but they will never succeed in piracy.
We will continue to prosper and grow, no matter the obstacles they try to put in our way.
One day we may even completely shut the door to their visits. Tgat would hurt their pride.

What these idiots who know little about cruise tourism dont understand is that S.American cruises that list destinations like Port Stanley, Falkland Islands - sell tickets - because it is a very popular destination. Remember 10-12 years ago when they tried to tell major lines that they would be barred from Arg ports if the called at Stanley - those major lines either dropped Arg ports from their schedule, or if coming here from Ushuaia - simply left Ushuaia with Chile as destination instead - crossed the line in the Beagle Channel, stopped engines - brought Chilean Customs up the ladder - who stamped the ship into- AND out of Chile- and proceeded to the Falklands.

“Therefore, Cruiseline S.R.L. should mention Argentina as the destination country.”

So the Argentines arriving in the British Falkland Islands without a passport won't be allowed to get ashore?
    - or should the advertising say “Destination Argentina - but a pasport is required”?

What a marvellous idiot Judge Guillermo Patricio Cánepa is.
