Jun 15th, 2025 - 01:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Also, emissions from most western countries have halved in the last 30 years and will be at or near net zero in the next 30-40 years, while emissions from the global south continue to increase rapidly, exceeding the reductions in the west.
The bigger picture is that it is now almost irrelevant what western countries do, if the global south do not curb/reduce their emissions.
He needs to worry about what Brazil will commit to, rather than questioning others all the time.
But then that would be admitting that global south countries are the problem here and not western countries.
