The Falklands are a useful distraction for Peronist governments when they make a mess of the economy. Now that Argentina has been told by a US Court to pay 16 billion dollars or hand over half of its shares in YPF because of Axel Kicillof's stupidity, we can expect a lot more posturing of this sort.
