
The Falkland Islands is supportive of the International Wool Textile Organization (IWTO) plea for all in the wool industry to sign the petition “Make the Label Count”, which calls for, “Wear Wool, not Fossil Fuel”.

Much of the Falkland Islands’ land mass is used for agriculture. The main product is wool, with an EU approved abattoir producing mutton and lamb for local and export markets and beef for local markets.

Trading companies that move goods between Asia, Africa, and the Middle East often face financial hurdles that slow down their operations.
