  Fin whale wedged to the bow of cruise ship in Canada

  

  A rare whale was discovered wedged on to the bow of a cruise ship when it docked in a Canadian port Saturday morning. The 21 metres fin whale, a threatened species in Canada, was found when the Sapphire Princess docked at the Port of Vancouver, the cruise company said.

  Snow blanket reaches outskirts of Buenos Aires city

  

  Parts of the city of Buenos Aires were covered in snow on Wednesday as temperatures plummeted to below zero in most of Argentina. Snow was reported in the provinces of Rio Negro, San Luis, San Juan and Cordoba and along most of the Buenos Aires province coastline.

  Argentine dairy farm 50 years in the business forced to close

  

  Magnasco, one of the oldest dairy farms in Argentina with a history of more than 50 years has ceased activities and will dedicate its farmland to potatoes. The family business which owns four dairy farms and rents another five took the drastic action because “there’s no way of making of profit” with the erred agriculture policies from the administration of the Kirchner couple.
