    Argentina and Britain, “friendly nations”.

    Lord Gareth Williams, Prime Minister Tony Blair's special envoy to President Nestor Kirchner assumption ceremony on May 25 said that Argentina and Britain are “friendly nations, each recognizing the other's position” who have been working and cooperating for several years in all those areas “that we could advance. I hope this will continue”.

    Unique ship painting from Falkland's donor

    A unique painting of Brunel's famous liner, the ss Great Britain, has been donated by a woman who was brought up in the Falkland Islands, Mrs Margaret Wilson. It is believed to be the only painting in existence showing the vessel in her final configuration as a three-masted “wind-jammer”.
