    RAF chief takes to the sky in Argentine Air Force fighter-bomber

    On the last of his three day visit to Argentina, Royal Air Force Chief of the Air Staff Sir Peter Squire yesterday flew an Argentine Mirage fighter bomber similar to those used to attack British Task Force vessels in San Carlos waters during May 1982.

    Falklands Commodore leads wreath layers

    One of the outstanding commanders of the 1982 Falklands War, Commodore Mike Clapp, CB, laid the wreath in memory of the Armed Forces at the Falkland Islands Association (FIA) annual Act of Remembrance commemorating Battle Day on 8th December, 1914, when the German South Atlantic fleet was vanquished by the Royal Navy.
