    Oil exploration in Uruguay. A French vessel began this week hydrocarbon exploration operations in Uruguay's continental shelf in the River Plate. “Thales Venturer” actually was scheduled to begin April 6th., but climatic conditions postponed the first stage which now is expected to last until April 28th.

He confirms the view that those Servicemen who stayed on in the Forces after the 1982 War, recovered far more quickly from their ordeal, than those who decided to return to a civilian way of life.

    England's soccer captain, David Beckham, has sportingly accepted a belated apology from Argentine player Aldo Duscher who telephoned him personally after facing mass British media criticism, condemning what is widely regarded here as his vicious two-footed tackle which broke a bone in Beckham's foot.
