Falklands receive batch of Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines; fishing vessels crews immunized

The Falkland Islands Government has received a batch of Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines, supplied by the UK government. These 960 doses arrived on 12 August and are being rolled out as part of the ongoing vaccination programme which began in February.

Team of forensic experts arrives in Falklands for second phase of Humanitarian Project

An international team of six forensic experts, including two Argentines, and coordinated by the International Committee of the Red Cross is scheduled to arrive this Monday to the Falkland Islands for the second phase of the Humanitarian Project Plan to identify remains of Argentine combatants fallen during the 1982 conflict.
