Lord Mayor of Plymouth presented with Falklands' flag during commemorations

Double commemoration in Plymouth's HMS Raleigh at a ceremony recalling the Falkland Islands' Liberation Day. For one, the Islands' flag is flying throughout British Armed Forces Week, recognition of the sailors, Royal Marines and soldiers who sailed from the city 39 years ago to liberate the South Atlantic archipelago.

Brussels drops tariffs for 75,000 tonnes of Falklands squid

The European Commission has reached an agreement to allow 75,000 tonnes of Falklands loligo to be imported tariff-free into the European Union, according to reports in Galician daily Faro de Vigo.
