Argentina has the potential to increase food sales to the UK by 28% in the short term, from the current US$ 830 million to US$ 1.060bn, according to the president of the powerful farmers' organization, Argentine Rural Society, Luis Miguel Etchevehere, currently in London with a business mission sponsored by the Argentine foreign ministry, the Argentine-British Chamber of Commerce and the embassy in London.
Finance minister Nicolas Dujovne will be heading this week the largest Argentine business delegation to visit the UK in twenty years, jointly organized by the Argentine-British Chamber of Commerce with support from the Argentine foreign ministry and the embassy in London.
So said British Deputy Foreign Minister Alan Duncan on Friday during the Business Networking Day, a gathering organized by the Argentine-British Chamber of Commerce at the Embassy in London.
Argentine-British Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the Sustainable Leadership Awards. The National University of Cordoba’s Hemoderivatives Lab won the CCAB Excellence in Sustainability award for its positive impact on the community, high degree of innovation at the implementation level and strong leadership in the field of sustainability.
