  El Al to fly between Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires

  

  Argentina's Ambassador to Israel, Axel Wahnish, confirmed Friday in a broadcast interview that the flag carrier El Al will start a direct service between Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires to be agreed upon during President Javier Milei's next meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on June 11 when the South American leader travels to receive during a special ceremony at the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) the Genesis Award, an accolade deemed tantamount to “the Jewish Nobel.”

  Team Falklands and President Milei eclectic foreign policy

  

  Team Falklands, which recently visited the Caribbean, United States, and United Nations in New York and Canada felt they came across a new attitude towards peoples' right to self-determination, mostly privately, which anyhow did not prevent overwhelming support for Argentina's colonial claim over the Falkland Islands at the C24 meeting, or a repeat of such situation at the Organization of American States, OAS, annual assembly, held in Paraguay.

  Milei cries at Wailing Wall in Israel

  

  Argentine President Javier Milei Tuesday landed in Tel Aviv on an ElAl flight and cried at the Wailing Wall together with his rabbi friend Axel Wahnish, who will be the South American country's next ambassador. During his first day in Israel, Milei met with President Isaac Herzog and insisted on his promise to move the embassy to Jerusalem.
