Qatar unveiled the logo for the 2022 World Cup which will be hosted by the Gulf emirate by displaying it in public spaces in Doha and cities around the world on Tuesday.
City administration of the capital of Qatar, Doha, began painting city roads in blue, as part of a pilot project to combat the effects of extreme heat. Qatar is scheduled to host the 2022 World Cup.

British architects Foster & Partners has been appointed to design Qatar’s Lusail Stadium, venue for the Qatar 2022 World Cup opening match and final. The London-based firm won the international tender competition for the project, Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy announced on Monday.
