  Pence to visit Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Panama in August

  

  US Vice President Mike Pence announced he will be travelling to Central and South America later this year. During a conference on Prosperity and Security in Central America in Miami it became known that the Vice President will be touring Colombia -Cartagena and Bogota-, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Panama City on August 13-18.

  Former FBI Director James Comey asserted on Thursday that President Donald Trump fired him to interfere with his investigation of Russia's ties to the Trump campaign, bluntly accusing the White House of spreading “lies, plain and simple.” Comey also revealed that he'd orchestrated the public release of information about his private conversations with the president in an effort to further the investigation.

  “Enough is enough” says PM May, “too much tolerance of extremism in our country”; confirms Thursday election

  

  Prime Minister Theresa May said Britain must be tougher in stamping out Islamist extremism after attackers killed at least seven people by ramming a van into pedestrians on London Bridge and stabbing revelers in nearby bars. After the third militant attack in Britain in less than three months, May said Thursday's national election would go ahead. But she proposed regulating cyberspace and said Britain had been far too tolerant of extremism.

  PM Theresa May has told Donald Trump of her “disappointment” with his decision to pull the US out of the 2015 Paris climate agreement. In a phone call with the US president, Mrs. May said the UK remained committed to the deal, according to a Downing Street statement. But Mrs. May has been criticized for not signing a joint condemnation from France, Germany, and Italy. Mr. Trump said he would try to negotiate a new, “fairer” climate deal.

  United States President Donald Trump is selling off his multi-million-dollar 11-bedroom beachfront estate in the French Caribbean island of St Martin. Le Château des Palmiers, located on Plum Bay Beach, Terres Bassesis on the south-western tip of the island, has been listed by Sotheby's International Realty, which does not reveal any asking price on its website. It says the price is available upon request.
