  Falklands/Malvinas: City of Ushuaia has its logo for the 40th anniversary of the war

  

  The City of Ushuaia has a logo and crest that will represent all activities organized by the city during next year when the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Malvina's war feat.   Fragments of Argentine aircraft downed in Falklands donated to museum

  

  British soldier David Richardson, who found the fragments of a downed Argentine Air Force Dagger downed by a British Harrier during the 1982 Falklands War, has donated the items to be exhibited at a museum in the province of Córdoba, Argentine ambassador to the United Kingdom, Javier Figueroa announced.

  Type 21 frigates' crews monument at San Carlos prepared for Falklands' 40th anniversary

  

  Falklands-based sailors tidied up the monument to crews of Type 21 frigates ahead of next year’s 40th anniversary of the conflict. A team of seven personnel who support the United Kingdom operations in the South Atlantic climbed Campito Hill which dominates nearby San Carlos Water – scene of several days of a bitter battle between the liberating fleet and Argentine aircraft in May 1982.
