    Three governors reelected in Argentina

    Melella was reelected as governor of Tierra del Fuego

    The governors of the Argentine provinces of La Pampa, Salta, and Tierra del Fuego were reelected Sunday. Meanwhile and following a Federal Supreme Court ruling, San Juan and Tucumán had to postpone their gubernatorial elections, but the former voted for local authorities anyway, while the latter adjourned the process altogether.

    Ushuaia announces the construction of a five star sustainable Hilton hotel

    “This will be the first five-star Hilton group hotel in the province and will help to strengthen Tierra del Fuego as a tourism destination and local industries”, pointed out governor Melella

    Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego province will have a sustainable five-star hotel linked to the Hilton Hotels and Resorts consortium, which is expected to be inaugurated in December 2023.     Argentina votes funds for the construction of a Logistic Pole in Ushuaia

    Tierra del Fuego governor, Gustavo Melella confirmed the start of the initiative, which he defined as public private project given foreign investors interest

    The Argentine government has earmarked some 70 million dollars, in three years, for the construction of an Antarctic Logistic Pole in Ushuaia, capital of the extreme south province of Tierra del Fuego. Some US$ 25 million will be invested next year to begin the development of the strategic project aimed at consolidating Ushuaia as the support hub for scientific research in Antarctica.
