    Buenos Aires Gay Community warns of dangers under Milei

    Although June is Pride Month almost everywhere, Buenos Aires holds its annual march in November

    The Organizing Committee of Argentina's Gay Pride March issued a statement on its social media condemning recent statements from Worship Secretary Francisco Sánchez while accompanying President Javier Milei on his Spanish tour which included a stop at a get-together of far-right political forces hosted by Vox and where the South American leader delivered a speech that resulted in Madrid's Socialist administration pulling its ambassador from Buenos Aires.

    British embassy participated at Pride Parade in Santiago de Chile

    Despite winter weather, a group from the Embassy enthusiastically marched with the LOVEisGREAT Britain banner and photo frame

    The British Embassy participated at the 2018 Pride Parade held in Santiago on 23 June. Organized by two of the most important Chilean LGBTI organizations, Movilh and Fundación Iguales, the Parade attracted over 80,000 people who marched to demand respect for the rights of the LGBTI community in Chile.

    LGBTI Diversity Flag hoisted in Chilean city of Punta Arenas

    “What happened on Wednesday is a tremendous milestone that Punta Arenas,” Iguales Foundation president Pi said.

    The diversity flag was hoisted Wednesday on Mount La Cruz in Punta Arenas, Chile's southernmost city, as part of the celebration of the International Gay Pride Day (LGBTI) by the Iguales Foundation. Similar ceremonies were held all over the world, including the Magallanes Region Government House, over 2,000 kilometers south of Santiago.
