Argentine budget carrier Flybondi will start serving Uruguay as of December, it was announced this week.“ It is a good offer for many tourists to come to our country from Buenos Aires and all of Argentina,” said the head of Tourism.
Colombian budget carrier Viva Air plans to start flying in 2022 from Buenos Aires to Bogotá and Medellín and on to the United States, Mexico City or the Caribbean, it was reported Wednesday.
Argentine budget carrier Flybondi is to resume domestic services after 15 months grounded due to restrictions on the circulation of people owing to sanitary reasons, it was announced.
The Argentine government awarded low-cost airline Flybondi a 15-year license to exploit 284 domestic and international routes, including one that potentially can link Buenos Aires directly with the Falkland Islands.
Argentine budget airline Flybondi will go international starting December 17 with a flight between El Palomar in the Greater Buenos Aires area and the Paraguayan capital Asunción. Three days later it will commence serving Punta del Este from El Palomar and also from Córdoba.
El Palomar airport to the west of metropolitan Buenos Aires was officially incorporated to Argentina's National System of Airports and will be open for the low cost airlines to operate, beginning January.
