  Falklands will attend Overseas Territories ministerial meeting in London

  

  Representatives from the Falkland Islands will be attending the Overseas Territories Joint Ministerial Council 2015, JMC, in London on the 1-2 December. The fourth meeting of the Overseas Territories Joint Ministerial Council (JMC) will be held at Lancaster House and will be hosted by FCO Minister for the Overseas Territories James Duddridge MP.

  YPF and PDVSA will explore Malvinas continental shelf for oil, says Pagina 12

  

  According to reports in the Argentine media, the nationalized Argentine oil company YPF, formerly owned by Spain's Repsol, will be teaming up with Venezuelan oil giant PDVSA to explore the continental shelf around the Falkland/Malvinas Islands for oil.

  Overseas Territories White Paper reiterates UK determination to defend the Falklands

  

  Britain reiterated its determination to continue to defend the Falkland Islands and other Overseas Territories on Thursday, an official document known as the White Paper said. The document on the Overseas Territories declares there would be “no weakening” in Britain's resolve.
