    Falklands, Eleven Veterans complete kayak and trek expedition to honor lost friends

    A team of veterans have completed an expedition to commemorate fallen comrades of the Falklands War. Former Royal Marine Tom Rendell, from Bristol, has led 11 men as they follow different actions the 3 Commando Brigade made during 1982 - from landing to freeing the capital Stanley.

    Falklands: soon release of files on bombing of RFA Sir Galahad at Bluff Cove

    Two secret Falkland Islands War files related to the bombing of the navy support ship Sir Galahad could soon be released, Defense minister Andrew Murrison told the Commons. “Government was considering releasing the files related to the disaster, subject to legal checks,” he said and suggesting more details could be released in coming months rather that years.

    Falklands' veteran Simon Weston launches book on “My Life; My Story”

    A Falklands' war veteran who survived the bombing of his ship when most of those on board were killed takes to the stage to tell the story of his life. In “My Life; My Story”, which comes to East Grinstead's Chequer Mead on Friday, October 16, Simon Weston OBE, will share truths about the conflict, the day the RFA Sir Galahad was attacked and the impact the event and its consequences have had since.
