    Grenfell Tower death toll feared around 70

    “I really hope it won't,” but Commander Stuart Cundy admitted the number of casualties may increase.

    The latest news from the West London Grenfell Tower fire site list 58 people missing and presumed to be dead, London police Commander Stuart Cundy said on Saturday. He also explained that the figure was based on reports from the public and feared it might go up. “This number 58 may change. I really hope it won't, but it may increase,” he said. This 58 include the 30 already confirmed dead, according to Cundy. Analysts estimate the death toll can reach 70.

    Diyab and five other ex-Guantanamo inmates resettled along with him have had a running dispute with Uruguay's government over housing and living allowances

    A former Guantanamo Bay inmate who was resettled in Uruguay and then arrested in Venezuela after going missing has been sent back to Uruguay, officials announced in Montevideo. Syrian Jihad Diyab, 45, who was resettled in Uruguay as a refugee in 2014 -- was jailed at the headquarters of the Venezuelan secret police after going off the radar in Uruguay then traveling to Venezuela, apparently evading border control.
