  The Government of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced Saturday it would be offering 10,500 temporary visas in the absence of a foreign labour force that was forced to leave the country after it cut itself loose from the European Union in addition to travel restrictions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

  New guidance published to mitigate serious injury on small vessels

  

  The United Kingdom Maritime and Coastguard Agency has published new guidance on mitigating the risk of serious injury from whole-body vibration on small vessels. Whole Body Vibration (WBV) and Repeated Shock (RS) injuries are a known issue of travelling on small vessels at high speeds. When they occur, they can be life-changing or even fatal.
