The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have thanked the Falkland Islands Government and the people of the Falkland Islands for their recent wedding gifts.
In a letter to FIG London Representative Sukey Cameron, St James’s Palace said that the couple was delighted to become the adoptive parents of two King Penguins. They said it was a kind and original gift for which they were very grateful.
Their Royal Highnesses also said how touched they were that the Falklands Government sent such a generous donation in support of Service personnel and their families, which is among the charities to benefit from their gift fund. They said it was so kind to think of them in this way.
The Duke and Duchess sent the Government and people of the Falkland Islands their warmest thanks and very best wishes.
