Feb 13th, 2012 - 08:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0I wonder if they will invite a representative from the Falklands to be able to discuss the Islanders point of view.If they dont then they could be accused of Neo-colonialism This term, usually pejorative, refers to a sort of unofficial colonization, in which a country's government is overthrown by larger country and replaced by a government that coincides with the larger country's interests. In effect, this makes the country a colony.

So much for always working for peaceful negotiations. And the world wonders why we don’t trust these psychopathic murdering scum when they come out with lies like this. Fuck of Rossi you lying scumbag.
”and the UK decisions are in the opposite direction”
Feb 13th, 2012 - 10:34 am - Link - Report abuse 0Thats funny as only last week did we make it clear we were open to bilateral talks with argentina on everything accept sovereignty. and we would not discuss sovereignty until the islanders wished it.
Also accusing us of militarising the south atlantic is a joke, take a long hard look at yourself argentina - Attempting to build a nuclear powered sub, building new sea fairing naval ships (which are not a replacement to current vessels) and you say were the ones militarising the south atlantic, when we have do nothing different or increased our assets on the islands for the last 20-25 years. All we have done is replaced aging assets with new ones, which is routine for any military in the world. Just because we are more advance than you does not mean where militarising anything. In fact, everything we have done is in a defensive posture not an hostile aggressive posture.
these Argies ..its more of the same: who cares what they see in Argentina? the falklands are part of the Uk and enshrined in the EU constitution;.. when are they going to wake up? The best what they can do is cooperate in all possible ways : economically, politically, humanitary, scientifically,... at the end, its not about being the boss over the islands, its about getting the advantages... if they would cooperate during some decades, there might be a natural evolution to joint management.. but the actual way of the conflict has lasted for 150 years...and why should that type of politicis suddenly become a solution?

@7 Tell you what Danny you dumb shit, why don't yuou go help malviner and pirate hunter in getting an nuclear explosion from pissing in the wind. Argentina DOES NOT HAVE NUCLEAR WARHEADS - FULL STOP.
Feb 13th, 2012 - 12:33 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your making yourself look like a complete dickhead by continueing to state it as a matter of fact that they do and would nuke britain. Your that full of shit you probably have a sewage treament plant named after you due it being used solely to process the shit that comes out from you. In fact here an idea, why don't you go piss in your own crap and see if you get that long sought after nuclear explosion you would like to see. In. fact i wouldn't be surprised if you did take my advise and tried it, as given you clearly believe argentina can produce a nuclear warhead out of thin air above britain, then your are obiviously dumb enough to believe you can get a nuclear explosion from pissing in the wind or into your own shit.
To be honest your just a poor old german/italian, whos bitter about losing 2 world wars to britain and hate britian as a result. You make things up becuase you truely what such crap you sprout to be true. Your nothing more than a nzi fascist that dreams of seeing britain destroyed. And lives in a fantasy world with delusion of argentina nuking britian or having the ability to do so. Get a life you dumb shit.
And for the record, neither i or britain are in a big mess, unlike Germany and Italy, your just jealous that we vetoed the EU fiscal Treaty and stopped you from getting control over londons finanical sector, not to mention spiteful becuase you lost 2 world wars. If you love argentina so much, why do you go live there, am sure you will make good friends with likes of malviner, Marcus, Think, Flippo and all the rest.

Argentine Politicians really are a laugh a minute! Firstly Twitwerman tells the UN, UK is militarizing the Islands - with new long range Radar - FACT - its a Scientific Radio Antennae system to study the Ionesphere and is linked to others in other countries!!
Feb 13th, 2012 - 01:40 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And - the Map he showed of all those Military Command & Control Centres - which happen to be a private company,s system of TELEPHONE REPEATERS!!!!
Etc Etc!!!!
And now - Tierra Del Fuego Govt is to host a discussion about us!! ERR - UK first settled the Islands in 1765- well over 100YEARS before TDF became part of Argentina!!
UK resettled the Islands in 1833 about 50 years before TDF became part of Argentina, and by the 1860,s all the Islands were settled and occupied with agriculture growing - 20years before TDF became part of Argentina!!
Talk about self-delusion - these guys fantasize in it!
Thank you Islander 1....your facts are always very very accurate and always very welcome. If only the Argentines could understand that these are historical facts , not ones made up by various Argentine regimes.

Feb 13th, 2012 - 02:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Reality check time -
1. Argentine Navy harassing shipping arriving and departing Falklands territorial waters.
2. Argentine using the apparatus of Mercosur to impose an economic blockade on the Falkland Islands, baring all Falkland flagged ships from Mercosur ports (itself a violation of international trade law and an act of war).
3. Argentina claiming sovereignty over the Falkland Islands and several other South Atlantic island groups and British Antarctica, over which it has never had sovereignty.
The Malvinas only exists in the imagination of the Argentine government.
4. Argentine claiming a false jurisdiction over over foreign sovereign territories in violation of international law. Again an act of aggression.
5. Argentine ratcheting up tensions, using veterans groups, all departments of government and its nationalist media in a war of words, insults and aggressive vitriol directed at Britain, the British people, the British government and the Falkland Islands.
6. Threats to block air travel between the Falklands and South America - a further escalation of economic warfare.
7. Argentina violating Falklands Air Space.
8. Argentina violating Falklands Territorial Waters.
Need I go on? Argentina is a fascist relic of a 1930's Europe, transplanted into the South American continent with the help of Juan Perón and his whore of a wife, adopted by successive military dictatorships. Carried on by the son of escaping Nazi's Nester Kirchiner and perpetuated by his whore wife, the daughter of fleeing Croatian Ustazi (Nazi's).
Argentina - a fascist tin pot relic of a forgotten age, complete with screaming nationalists and brain dead sycophants, like O Gara, to the regime.

“The session will have a tremendous symbolism”, said Rossi.
Feb 13th, 2012 - 02:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Exactly that and nothing more. What a w*nker this idiot is.
Perhaps, at the exact time of the meeting there should be a 'symbolism' of two fingers by every Falklander (there are no Malvinas) in their direction.
Mind you, you have to smile at how delusional these pratts are.
It's only tremendously symbolic because it couldn't be any more Orwellian. The Eternal President of the Republic already has his own mausoleum (http://buenosairesherald.com/article/82909/cfk-inaugurates-n%C3%A9stor-kirchners-mausoleum)... I guess CFK is Beloved Successor to the Eternal President.

A solid case for Argentine decolonisation

Argies - pack your bags you're going home. All you colonial pirates in Argentina need to go home.
Well, since Amnesty international is the unfallible word, I would agree to pack my bags and head somewhere (not Europe). But first, the UK and USA should also comply and hand over several of their presidents and prime ministers (Bush II, Blair, etc) for imprisonment and trial, as Amnesty international has demanded.
Feb 13th, 2012 - 03:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hahahaha. I guess I'll cancel that plane ticket now.
We don't care about Argentinian's rights to self determination, because it doesn't apply in this case, because you exterminated the local population and you were implanted there by a pirate-like colonial power (Spain). You pirates better beware as, we will be taking you to the UN Decolonisation Committee at the next appropriate UN get-together and in the most faggotish manner use a schoolboy's powerpoint to complain about how you have a radar and doubled your military spending (http://en.mercopress.com/2010/09/01/argentine-to-increase-budget-defence-50-recovering-losses-of-falklands-war). Then those poor UN-unmentioned aboriginal Argentinians can have their land back and stop getting shot.

Feb 13th, 2012 - 03:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hi, I'm an Argentinian. Through our Orwellian mainly re-written history we've killed children, killed most of paraguay, invaded chile and the falklands, and hundreds of people have gone missing. We now mainly kill the natives and steal their land.
Can I be a part of your peace-club? Can I?
14 & 15 - The Argentinians do not care for facts, they only care for their fascist banana-republic propaganda headed up by CFK.
Feb 13th, 2012 - 03:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Brits and other Europeans volunteered to fight fascism in Spain during the 1930s. It sounds like Argentina is on the verge of becoming what Spain was like 75 years ago!
Argsoc (Argentinian Socialist Party) basically needs the perpetual war in order to let their Ministry of Truth continue making the population think that what they're doing is very right. That whole KFC evening of presentation was simply 'Two Minutes Hate'.

Feb 13th, 2012 - 06:17 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Actually the Swiss used to be the biggest mercenaries in Europe, pillaging Europe from one end to the other for whoever paid the most. They specialised in the pike square, that is until someone invented the firearm and a few battles later the Swiss had lost 4/5ths of their manpower. They retreated to their mountains declared neutrality and have remained so ever since.
Other than appearances this discussion will be completely useless, toothless and impotent.

Feb 14th, 2012 - 02:01 am - Link - Report abuse 0Here is a film all the nationalist children of Argentina should watch. It should be compulsory education in Argentine schools to learn about their country recent history, instead of teaching lies about the Falkland Islands (the imaginary Malvinas - which Argentina has NEVER had sovereignty over).
That something like this was allowed to happen is a crime against humanity, 50,000-100,000 raped, tortured, mutilated, murdered and disappeared (Borges). Unborn babies ripped out of their mothers wombs, young children taken from their parents, who were murdered by the heroic Argentine military.
Anyone of you born in the 70's? I hope your lucky enough to know who your real parents are...
The Official Story / La historia official (1985)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7LF5II0wIY
It's a film everyone should watch. Feel shame because the specter of fascism still grips Argentina and as Martino Moreno said If publishing the truth is forbidden, then lies, ignorance and poverty will follow.
Argentina's history is still being written by Moreno's assassins.
Wow, ignorance on you has reached outstanding levels.
Feb 14th, 2012 - 02:40 am - Link - Report abuse 0Have you ever been to Argentine congress?
It would be. Spokesman: Now to blablabla we are going to discuss X measure and our position on Malvinas Islands. Every diputado keeps like 10 minutes talking why they believe you are wrong and we are right. Most of the time they are polite and no nationalis outrage happens(except by the 3 or 4 diputados who are famous. But hey there are like 400 of them) Then they vote, a result which was knew since the beginning. And they all take the plane back to Buenos Aires. Hardly what you depicted.
Malvinas Islands belong to the Province of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, this fact will never change.

@43 .... Tierra del Fuego belongs to the Falkland Islands...fact....
Feb 14th, 2012 - 04:42 am - Link - Report abuse 0@43 Really - Well in that case explain to us how argentina can claimed the islands under territorial integrity, when in 1833 argentina did not exist and patagonia and tierro del feugo were still lands belonging to native indians and not to the united provinces. And when the ICJ ruled in favour of self determination over any territorial integrity claim e.g. Kosovo.
Feb 14th, 2012 - 09:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0No wonder argentina refuse to take it to the ICJ as they know their claim is not valid!
Let's be quite clear, KFC doesn't like the ICJ because it continuously manages to find new ways to make her look like a demented harridan and quickly sees through their historical revisionism.
